Uchenna Kanu is a Nigerian professional footballer widely recognized for her exceptional talent, strength, and achievements in women’s football. Her performances for club and country have earned her respect on the global stage, making her a role model for aspiring young footballers across Nigeria and Africa.

Off the pitch, Kanu is passionate about human capacity development and giving back to the community. She founded the Uchenna Kanu Foundation in her hometown of Aba, Nigeria, to support the less privileged and empower young people through education and sport. She also launched the Uchenna Kanu Football Academy, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of football talents.

An author as well, Kanu recently celebrated the launch of her book, Football My Escape,  sharing her inspiring journey, challenges, and triumphs to motivate young dreamers around the world.
